Amazing hotels, villa’s and apartments on Corfu island

Going to the Greek island of Corfu? Great choice!

I’ve been going every year since 1994. I gathered all the best tips for you in my 150-page ultimate Corfu Travel Guide.

But here’s a bit of free information for you already. Some amazing hotels, villa’s & apartments on Corfu island. Looking for a resort? Check out my blog on resorts in Corfu

Acanthus Blue Hotel, Corfu town

Acanthus Blue hotel is located just outside the heart of Corfu town. Close to everything but quiet and almost waterfront. It is located in an old Corfiot (Venetian style) buidling that has been completely and beautifully renovated and made into a state of the art hotel. My friend’s friend did it, actually and I was super impressed. A bonus is the lovely and peaceful courtyard where you can have your breakfast. Or just a coffee. even as a non-guest. Definitely recommend this one for staying in Corfu town.

Zeus Throne Suites, Afionas

The newly renovated Zeus Throne Suites resemble the much-loved accommodations on islands such as Santorini and Mykonos. Not many accommodations like this with private pool and amazing view exist yet in Corfu. The view over Agios Georgios North, a beach with golden sand, is beautiful. Amongst the best views of Corfu. Also, the village of Afionas is the cutest of the island. And it the starting point of the hike to the famous Porto Timoni beach (see picture). Take into account however that this is not a centrally located area and hotel. It is suitable for those who want lots of private time and want to visit some highlights of North Corfu.

Pelecas Country Club, Pelekas

Pelecas Country Club: This is a beautiful hotel in a traditional 18th century stone building, located just outside the village of Pelekas. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, as well as a snack bar and a tennis court. Pelecas Country Club’s decoration is a typical Corfiot style with Italian influences.

Art hotel Debono and Rodostamo Hotel & Spa, Gouvia

Art Hotel Debono (4*) and Rodostamo Hotel & Spa (5*) are 2 modern more luxury hotels in the centrally located Gouvia area. The first is situated in Kontokali and the second one in Komenno. Art Hotel Debono is friendly priced! Rodostamo takes it one level up, it seafront and offers rooms and even whole bungalows with private pool. But outside high season normal rooms are still priced just € 100 – 150 per night.

Archontiko Petrettini, Agios Ioannis

Archontiko Petrettini, a Venetian style boutique hotel in a building dating back to 1832. It is located in the heart of Agios Ioannis village, just 1 km away from Aqualand. Spacious rooms with comfy beds with very welcoming owners and family like atmosphere. During summer season they also offer live music in the garden almost once per week. In my 95-page Corfu Travel Guide you’ll find an exclusive discount for booking this hotel directly with the owners.

Lepti Ammos Villa, Halikounas

Lepti Ammos is a newly built villa with a private outdoor swimming pool and a terrace, a garden and barbecue facilities as well. The villa is situated just a few minutes’ walk away from the spectacular and kilometers long sandy beach of Halikournas, in a secluded and also very peaceful location.

Akrotiri Beach Hotel, Palaiokastritsa

The area of Palaiokastritsa and Liapades are often visited by tourist because they want to see the stunning turquoise waters. The Akrotiri Beach Resort Hotel definitely is the hotel with the best view of one of these bays. Below is one of the beach (not the cheapest) beach bars of Corfu, Akron beach bar. Including a pool and fantastic restaurant.

Rokamare apartments, Liapades

Rokamare lies 50m above the Gefyra beach inLiapades. The view of the beach is gorgeous! It also offers air-conditioned accommodation with free-wifi, a balcony and a restaurant. All units come with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and of course a private bathroom.

Lido Sofia, Agios Gordios

Lido Sofia Apartments offers breathtaking views as it is located few meters above the sea and child-friendly beach of Agios Gordios. The view of the rock as well as the sunset are the reason for many to return to the small-scale hotel complex. Great for families!

Kidonakia Apartments, Agios Ioannis

Kidonakia apartments is a family owned apartment complex located in the tiny village of Agios Ioannis, 900m from Aqualand. The apartments are basic but have all the necessary amenities. There is a garden and an outdoor pool that guests can enjoy as well. It is a great place to stay if you’d like a smaller and peaceful local location and are planning on discovering Corfu by car. In my complete, 95-page Corfu Travel Guide you will find an exclusive discount code for booking this accommodation.

Spyridoula Resort Hotel, Gouvia

Spyridoula hotel , a favorite to many Dutch people, is close to the village of Gouvia and just a few minutes away from the beach. The resort hotel offers a shared lounge, bar, garden, seasonal outdoor pool and a children’s playground as well. Many people come back here year after year because of the hospitality and excellent value for money.

Villa Mama Mia, Temploni

Villa Mama Mia really is a hidden gem in the middle of nature, nearby the village of Temploni and surrounded by 4000m2 of olive trees and flowers. Guests can enjoy the spectacular infinity pool and the friendly company of the owner and her dogs. The rooms of the house are rented out as Airbnb, however the place has more of a hostel vibe. You can also camp here with your own tent, rented tent or your (camper)van. Lastly: prices are really friendly!

Ocay Villas

Ocay is a family company (they’re my personal friends since forever) that offers luxury villas and houses for rent all over the island of Corfu.

So definitely check their website. In my complete 95-page Corfu Travel Guide you will find a discount code for certain villa’s!

Probably the most spectacular villa offer is Villa Annie: A beautiful newly built luxury villa with infinity pool. located above Barbati beach. You can fully absorb the nature and beauty surrounding you and enjoy the most amazing views of the island. Beautifully furnished and fully equipped: everything you need is there, to make your holiday an unforgettable experience. It sleeps 8 people.

I hope one of these amazing hotels, villa’s & apartments on Corfu island is to your liking. Enjoy your stay! If you want more info on Corfu, get my Corfu Travel Guide or read my other Corfu blogs:
