6 reviews for Naxos Island, Greece – E-map (Google Maps Locations)
This guide is absolutely AMAZING. I truly couldn’t imagine planning my trip without it. I have scoured the internet for any and all information and reviews related to travel to Naxos. I found myself finding the same few recommendations over and over again until i found Tzatchickie’s guides and instagram page. This guide is so thorough and has in it everything you could possibly need from the logistics regarding parking, transportation, and accommodations to the most easily digestible beach guide laying out every pro and con to every beach on the island. Additionally she provides recommendations for everything and I mean EVERYTHING. When planning a trip to Greece and the islands specifically, I was looking to gain an authentic greek experience. This guide provides you with her first hand reviews of many local spots both heavily touristed and not. I loved that in this guide there are reviews of the very highly recommended spots in Naxos that I’ve been seeing everywhere where she gives her personal recommendation with pros and cons to each place. But even more so, I love that there are more local and less touristy spots in there as well which was what I was really looking for when purchasing this guide. When I plan a trip/vacation, I really prefer not to plan out every second of every day and go with the flow. This guide allows me to do that with ease and comfort. Since I am unfamiliar with Naxos as I have never been there, I feel once I am there I will be able to look to this guide on the fly for any number of things I want to see and eat my way around the island. It also took the stress off of planning transportation and I was able to plan all of that ahead of time with the help of this guide as well. I cannot recommend this guide enough and Tzatchickie for all of your greek travel needs. I guarantee between this guide and her instagram, any questions you have regarding your travel plans will be answered here. I also purchased the Milos guide and can say the same things for that one as well as I am sure all of her guides are the same level of attention to detail and are beyond thorough. I am going into my first trip to Greece with the upmost confidence because of the helpfulness of this guide and Tzatchickie. I cannot recommend enough!
Naxos is a multi-faceted island, and bigger than most visitors think. Sophie has done an incredible job digging into the corners of the island and making the experiences very attainable to anyone willing to put in the effort. Don’t hesitate to purchase any of the guides she writes!
I am writing this review from the beautiful Agia Anna beach in Naxos. We have been here for 2 days and the guide has been absolutely excellent. She helped us to quickly and visually evaluate the island before we got here to determine what we wanted to do and where we wanted to stay. All of the advice has been spot on and we will just follow her recommendations for the rest of the visit.
This is a really good travel guide! At first it seems quite simple, but in fact it’s very detailed. The internal links to Maps are really handy. The more we read it while exploring Naxos, the more we see and feel what Sophie means. She really has put a lot of work in this guide. And a lot of love… Thank you for this beautiful guide!
Naxos is larger than you would think. This guide helps so much in getting a grip of what interesting things there are to see and do, and how to get there. Especially the many pictures, beach index and road trip routes. You can just click and the whole route for the day will open in your Google Maps. Fantastic!! We found many spots this way we would have otherwise overlooked. Thanks Sophie for writing this guide!
